Chef Tools is supplying frozen food processor Frxsh Mousse Chef to the UK and Ireland. The processor is designed and manufactured in Switzerland with a low-maintenance design and premium materials, including chrome steel beakers as standard and an optional extra-tough hardwearing blade in gold. Blade intensity can be adjusted to create airy creams and mousses from deep-frozen recipes, and different textures can be achieved with non-frozen foods, from grainy tartare to fine vegetable brunoise. Its speed mode enables chefs to create light and fluffy textures quickly or regenerate recipes instantly without overbeating.

The Brigade chef clothing brand has released a chef jacket and apron made from ethically-sourced recycled plastic bottles. The ‘Chefs Against Plastic Waste’ workwear is created by crushing and melting recycled PET plastic before passing it through small holes to create thin strands. These strands are then stretched and cooled to create polyester fibres that are blended with cotton (65% polyester and 35% cotton). The short-sleeve jacket is equipped with a pen pocket and press stud fastening for convenience and comes in classic white. The aprons feature a front pocket and are available in black, white, grey or royal blue.
