The Caterer is hosting a free webinar to explore how hospitality businesses can achieve environmental accreditation and better market their sustainability credentials.
Taking place tomorrow at 10am, the one-hour webinar will feature operators who have made strides in their sustainability efforts offering their insight into how to ensure that environmental programmes are progressing.
Danny Pecorelli, managing director at the Exclusive Collection, will share his experience of guiding the business through achieving B Corp accreditation, while Brendan Eades, head chef of the Conduit in London, will explain how he has cut out waste in his kitchens.
They will be joined by Ian Thomas, chief executive of Bartlett Mitchell, a caterer that has introduced a number of new initiatives including a range of low carbon menus and Beth Langley, out of home director at Nespresso Professional, which has also recently announced its own B Corp certification.
The webinar, sponsored by Nespresso Professional, will take a deep dive into how to go about achieving sustainability certification, such as B-corp and Planet Mark. As well as exploring the benefits of sustainability certification and how to attain this, we'll be discussing the core elements to reducing your environmental impact, including recycling and responsible management of resources, and efficient and renewable energy use.
The Caterer's features and special projects editor Caroline Baldwin said: "Sustainability is the word on everyone's lips, but actually knowing how to go about significant change to make a difference to our planet can be mind boggling.
