Flat Cap Hotels has announced the launch of the first phase of the 50-bedroom Courthouse hotel, located within the former Grade II-listed Knutsford Crown Court building in Cheshire.
Steven Tuke, formerly at the Chester Grosvenor hotel, is overseeing all menus at the Courthouse as executive chef of Flat Cap Hotels.
The hotel's first 10 bedrooms will be launched later this year, while the additional 40 rooms opening in 2018.
The Courthouse is the second hotel within the Flat Cap Hotels portfolio, joining the 20-bedroom Vicarage Freehouse and Rooms in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. The property was originally built in 1818 by architect George Moneypenny.
Launched in 2015 by third-generation hoteliers Oliver and Dominic Heywood, Flat Cap Hotels received a âsignificantâ private investment last year to enable the business to expand to five properties in the north west of England by 2019.
