The Michelin-starred Dining Room at the Goring will be reopening in London’s Belgravia on 20 May.
The Michelin-starred Dining Room at the Goring in London’s Belgravia is set to reopen on 20 May as it nears the final stages of its refurbishment.
Jeremy Goring, chief executive of the family-owned luxury hotel, appointed Russell Sage Studio with the multi-million pound redesign of the restaurant, which was first announced in January.
It now features bold red furnishings set against green floral wallpaper from Fromental, which recreates the opulent ambience of London’s Royal palaces and grand residences.
For the first time in its 100-year history, the Dining Room has also installed a new kitchen, which will elevate executive chef Graham Squire’s offering of seasonal British food.
Dishes include roast Orkney scallop, pea, lemon verbena and brown butter; Cornish monkfish, mussels, seaweed, gooseberry and herbs; and Rhug Estate lamb, hot pot pie, lamb fat carrot, pickles and BBQ gem relish.
The Goring was opened in 1910 by Otto Goring.
