Diners were evacuated from a London restaurant last night as 10 fire engines tackled a fire on the Uxbridge Road in Hayes.
The emergency services were called at 9.41pm and all individuals (around 70 people) had safely left the building before firefighters from Hayes, Southall, Northolt, Ealing and Heathrow arrived on the scene.
Half of the roof of a single-storey extension of a restaurant, with flats above, were alight, as well as the ducting.
The fire was under control by 12.24am, but the cause is still under investigation.
