The Foodservice Equipment Suppliers Association (FEA) has issued further speaker details for the 2021 Industry Conference taking place on 15-16 September at Chesford Grange, Kenilworth.
Two additions to the speaker platform have been announced: Terry Boniface, assistant director, electronics and machinery, at the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and Simon Stenning, founder of Future Foodservice.
Over the past three years Boniface has led BEIS’s engagement with the electronic and machinery sectors, during which time the focus has been very much on Brexit and the pandemic.
He knows the foodservice equipment industry well, having worked directly with FEA, and has attended meetings with FEA members as well as coming to previous conferences. He will talk about the latest government thinking, and, with over 40 years’ experience of civil service departments, will add a singular understanding of the machinations of Whitehall to the speaker line-up.
Stenning’s most recent report is ‘The Rebuilding of Hospitality, 2021 to 2025’, which offers detailed forecasts for each sector of the market. He will deliver a presentation using his 30 years of experience of working in, developing, analysing and commentating on the industry to give insight into what the future holds.
FEA council member and chair of the advance group Steve Coates will join the conference’s business panel session, which will focus on recovery post-pandemic and post-Brexit.
Early bird booking rates for the conference are available until Wednesday 30 June. The full package for a FEA member, including two nights’ accommodation and dinner, is normally £695 but £595 with the early bird discount.
