Hotel group Exclusive Collection has launched a range of spa packages designed for people undergoing cancer treatment.
The dedicated massage and facial treatments are available at South Lodge in Sussex and Pennyhill Park in Surrey for those in remission, currently undergoing cancer treatment, or receiving end of life care.
Charity Wellness for Cancer and Italian skincare brand Comfort Zone have created the Beauty Reloaded programme in partnership with the hotel group.
The charity has provided training to the hotels’ spa therapists and staff to help recognise specific wellness needs.
Example treatments include the Pro Sleep Massage, which sees illipé butter, jojoba and babassu oil applied to nourish the skin to help customers relax and encourage a good night’s sleep.
The Beauty Reloaded Beauty Touch Facial uses ingredients such as marula oil, marvel of peru and Mexican hyssop extracts to restore the epidermal barrier of skin and calm the mind following periods od physical and emotional stress.
Danny Pecorelli, managing director at Exclusive Collection, said: “We are incredibly proud of the Exclusive Collection’s new Cancer Care programme at both South Lodge and Pennyhill Park.
“We look forward to providing dedicated spa treatments to those that have experienced or are currently experiencing cancer, to allow them to relax, feel replenished and truly looked after by certified beauty therapists trained by Wellness for Cancer.”
Hotels across the country have upgraded their spas and offering a wider variety of treatments to meet the changing needs of customers.
