Johnny Stanford, formerly head chef of Pascere in Brighton, is to head up the kitchen at a West Sussex gastropub owned by model and TV presenter Jodie Kidd.
Stanford left the 30-cover Pascere, owned by Platinum Business magazine food and drink editor Amanda Menahem, earlier this month, with Ben Porter taking over his role.
Now Stanford has announced on Twitter that he will be head chef at the Half Moon in Kirdford, which focuses on organic food and drink.
Stanford, who prior to his role at Pascere, was a senior sous chef at the three-AA-rosette Pass restaurant at the South Lodge hotel in Horsham, Sussex, said he was "really looking forward to seeing what we can achieve in this beautiful place".
Kidd bought the pub last year along with business partners Chris Lee and Dan Elson in order to save it from possible redevelopment.
