Ennismore has confirmed opening dates for two new UK hotels, Hyde London City and the Hoxton, Edinburgh.
The seven-storey Hyde London City is set to mark the brand’s British debut in the middle of 2024. Located in a Grade II-listed building on the Old Bailey in the City of London, the 111-room property will feature a modern Turkish restaurant, as well as a subterranean cocktail and record bar.
Meanwhile, the Hoxton will launch its first Scottish property in Edinburgh in the middle of 2024.
The 214-room hotel, situated in the Haymarket neighbourhood, will feature an open lobby, the Patatino Italian restaurant, and event spaces.
It will also include the Hoxton brand's first aparthotel offering, with three, three-bedroom, self-contained flats available for long-stay accommodation.
The first hotel under the Hoxton brand was launched by Pret A Manger entrepreneur Sinclair Beecham in Shoreditch in 2006 and it was bought by Ennismore founder Sharan Pasricha in 2012. The brand has since launched four properties in London and hotels in Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris and Rome.
Gaurav Bhushan, Co-chief executive of Ennismore, said: “Ennismore has a unique position within the industry with an eco-system of experiences built around hotels, all-inclusive resorts, restaurants and bars, branded residences and coworking.
“Our growth over the next few years shows us that there is a strong desire and demand for lifestyle and leisure brands in all regions.”
Ennismore is a joint venture with hotel giant Accor and currently has a portfolio of 144 hotels and resorts.
