Elliot Hill has returned to his roots to take over the head chef role of Oddfellows Chester.
He has joined the 18-bedroom, four-apartment boutique hotel having previously worked as executive chef of the Park Tavern in Wandsworth, London. His appointment marks his return to his home county of Cheshire.
Hill, who previously worked in the north west as part of the opening team at Hotel Gotham in Manchester in 2015, said: "Oddfellows is an exciting collection of hotels with a strong food and beverage ethos. I'm putting my mark on the menus and enjoying using the wonderful local Cheshire produce."
Oddfellows Hotels is headed by Jonathan Slater, who added: "Elliot is a talented young chef who possesses a passion and energy for his kitchen team and menu that is inspiring. We are delighted to welcome him to our Oddfellows family."
Hill has replaced Matthew Capper, who was at Oddfellows Chester as head chef for only six months.
Oddfellows Chester was joined by a sister hotel, Oddfellows on the Park, in Cheadle, Greater Manchester, last year.
