Elior secures catering contract at Cambridge-based research institute

Elior has secured a catering contract with the Medical Research Council Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) in Cambridge.

 

The caterer will provide breakfast, lunch and all-day grab-and-go options, such as sandwiches and cakes, for over 600 staff.

 

It will also offer a daily catering service to meeting rooms, as well as event catering for between 20 and 200 people.

Dr Stephen Holmes, head of estates at the Medical Research Council Laboratory of Molecular Biology, added: “Our aim in looking for a provider was to find someone who could provide quality in contract delivery, food standards, and sustainability. Elior demonstrated a clear understanding of our needs and plugged in their own levels of technology and programmes that suited exactly what we were looking for. LMB is a research institute specialising in biological processes that occur on a cellular level.

 

Elior Group was founded in 1991 and has over 99,000 employees.
