Competitive socialising brand Electric Shuffle is to open its latest venture in Manchester on 21 June.
The Deansgate venue will be the fourth UK opening for the brand from operator Red Engine, which is also behind darts concept Flight Club.
The art deco-inspired Electric Shuffle Manchester will have semi-private shuffleboard areas and offer cocktails, small plates and sourdough pizza.
Chief executive Steve Moore, who co-founded Electric Shuffle and Flight Club alongside Paul Barham, said: “We couldn’t be more excited to bring Electric Shuffle to Manchester. We have loved our time in Manchester so far and the welcome that Flight Club has received over the past five years. We look forward to helping create more memories to last a lifetime at Electric Shuffle.”
The venue will be the largest Electric Shuffle in the UK, with a 400-person capacity, and its opening will create 75 jobs in the city.
Red Engine has 17 owner-operated venues with a further eight operated by franchisees in North America and Australia. It plans to grow its portfolio further with four owned venues and four franchised venues in 2024, including sites in New York Liverpool and Oxford.
