The team behind Spanish tapas restaurant El Gato Negro is set to launch a competitive socialising bar in Manchester next month.
Black Cat Club in Manchester will offer a mix of interactive shuffleboard and Flyby Darts, as well as a selection of drinks, pizzas, loaded burgers and sharing small plates.
Table service will also be available to those who are watching the games.
The launch of the new concept comes after Simon Shaw, chef patron and creative director of Mill Hill Developments Ltd, revealed the group is “ready to expand subject to finding the right site” in April last year.
Mill Hill Developments also operates El Gato Negro, which holds a Bib Gourmand, and Mediterranean tapas restaurant Canto.
Black Cat Club will take over the site of the group’s former Middle Eastern bar business, Habas, which closed last month, after opening in 2021.
Canto is based in Manchester, while El Gato Negro has sites in Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool.
Shaw said: “We are thrilled to announce the launch of new concept, Black Cat Club, sister venue to Michelin recommended El Gato Negro and neighbourhood favourite, Canto.
“Our new concept, is all about bringing people together in a high energy environment, with great music and refined interiors. We’re introducing interactive group games alongside a diverse and contemporary food menu.”
