Bespoke Hotels is to operate Edinburgh's Bonham hotel, following last week's announcement that the hotel had been acquired by a US investor group led by fund manager Richard H. Driehaus.
The group acquired the 49-bedroom, four-AA-star hotel from Starwood Capital, which itself acquired the property in 2015 as part of Peter Taylor's Town House Collection , which also included the Blythswood hotel in Glasgow, the city's only five-AA-star hotel.
Set within three traditional Edinburgh townhouses, the Bonham also includes a bar and restaurant with an AA rosette.
Haydn Fentum, chief executive of Bespoke Hotels, said: "We are thrilled to be working alongside the new ownership of the Bonham hotel. We are fortunate to have come on board at a very exciting time in the property's development, as we seek to consolidate its well-earned reputation and invite travellers to explore this beautiful city."
Driehaus added: "Scotland has always held a special appeal to me, which began with my interest in the beautiful Art Nouveau works produced by artists including Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Margaret Macdonald. I am proud to join the Edinburgh community."
