Lateral City Apartments will open the Edinburgh Grand serviced apartments in the former Royal Bank of Scotland headquarters on 1 June.
The former banking landmark has been transformed over the last two years into 50 serviced apartments. The venue will also feature a 170-cover bar and restaurant in the former banking hall, a coffeehouse and an "upscale hangout", retaining the building's American art deco features.
The venue has been developed by Chris Stewart Group as part of its redevelopment of St Andrew Square.
Accommodating from one to six guests, the apartments will range from grand studios to a three-bedroom, rooftop penthouse. Features, including original wood panelling, fireplaces, brass door handles and decorative cornicing have been incorporated into the new design, led by Karen Brown, head of interior design at Chris Stewart Group.
As well as smart televisions, Bose sound systems and intelligent heating controls, each residence will be equipped with a fully fitted kitchen.
Lateral City Apartmentsâ properties also include Old Town Chambers, 50 serviced apartments which opened in 2013 just off Edinburghâs Royal Mile, and Merchiston Residence, a Victorian property comprising eight apartments which opened in 2008. Upcoming projects include a new development in Glasgow, and two further projects in Edinburgh.
