Doris Greif has been appointed managing director of the Langham hotel in London’s Marylebone, and regional vice-president of operations, Europe and Middle East, for the Langham Hospitality Group.
Greif succeeds Bob van den Oord, whose promotion to chief operations officer, based at the corporate office in Hong Kong, was announced earlier this month.
She said: “London is one of the most respected and competitive luxury hotel markets in the world and I am incredibly proud to join this innovative hotel group and lead the Langham through the next chapter of its illustrious history.”
Greif has previously spent almost 20 years in management roles with for Jumeirah, most recently holding the position of senior vice-president of operations – MEASA, based in Dubai.
In her new role she will lead the team at the five-AA-star, 380-bedroom Langham London, while supporting the group’s expansion with new acquisitions and developments in Europe and the Middle East.
