Dope Burger to open second site in Witham

Hull-based burger restaurant Dope Burger is to open a new site in the Witham area of the city.

The 50-cover restaurant will be located on New Cleveland Street. New menu items include a vegan fried chicken burger.

Sharing the news on its Facebook page which has over 22,000 page likes, Dope Burger posted an image of the new site with the brand's logo and the caption: "Anyone spot what's going on here?"

The image was followed by an announcement: "There is a Dope Burger opening in Hull with 50 seats for a casual dining or just grab and go as you like, who's down?"

Owner Ollie Johnson opened the first Dope Burger in Anlaby Road in April 2015.

The burger restaurant serves hot dogs, such as the smoked Dope Dog with smoked bratt, diced bacon, baconnaise and Dope sauce; the Dope chicken burger with lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pickles, jerk jam and Dope sauce; sides including pulled pork and cheese fries, falafel salad and blue cheese slaw.
