Daniel Pedreschi has been promoted from general manager of one of London's largest hotels, the 1,019 bedroom Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London, to regional general manager UK of PPHE Hotel Group.
In his new role, he will look after operations across the group's 10 Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts properties and 11 restaurants, as well as oversee the development of the UK's first two Art'otel properties in London, in Hoxton (318 bedrooms) and at Battersea Power Station (160 bedrooms plus).
Pedreschi has worked at PPHE for eight years, the most recent five as general manager of the four-AA-star Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London, during which time the hotel has won two Hotel Catey awards for Food & Beverage Manager and Conference and Banqueting Team in 2016. The hotel also won the Catey award for Accessibility in 2014.
Prior to joining PPHE, Pedreschi, who is a Master Innholder, worked at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Compass Group and Grosvenor House hotel.
He will report to Greg Hegarty, executive vice-president UK & chief commercial officer, PPHE, who said that Pedreschri will bring to the role "a wealth of operational and commercial experience which will no doubt support our ambitious plans following last year's notably successful trading in the UK".
The Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London was refinanced in a £182.4m deal with AIG Asset Management (Europe) over a period of 12 years.
