The Pride of Britain independent luxury hotel consortium has voted in Dan Rose-Bristow as its new chairman.
Rose-Bristow, joint managing director of the Torridon in the Scottish Highlands, has been voted in to take over from Kate Levin following her two-year tenure.
The Torridon is the only hotel in Scotland to have won AA Scottish Hotel of the Year twice . Rose-Bristow has been a board member of Pride of Britain Hotels for several years and, more recently, has acted as vice-chairman.
Rose-Bristow said: âWith over 20 yearsâ experience in the hospitality industry, I am looking forward to the challenge ahead. Pride of Britain Hotels is a wonderful collection of hotels and it is an exciting time to be more involved, particularly as weâre heading towards capacity at 50 members.â
Peter Hancock, chief executive of Pride of Britain Hotels, said: âWe are delighted to welcome Dan Rose-Bristow as chairman. Dan has served on our non-executive board for several years and his experience in hospitality is perfectly suited to the role. I look forward to working closely with him over the next two years.â
