Core by Clare Smyth has topped OpenTable's list of the best 100 restaurants in the UK for 2018.
The accolade follows a hugely successful year for Smyth, who saw the restaurant awarded two-Michelin stars just a year after opening.
London-based restaurants took nine spots in the top 10, with Brett Graham's the Ledbury in Notting Hill taking second place and Adam Byatt's Trinty in Clapham rated third. D&D London's Launceston Place in Kensington, Beast in Marylebone and La Trompette in Chiswick were all new entries, rated fifth, sixth and seventh respectively. Alyn Williams at The Westbury in Mayfair, and Medlar restaurant in Chelsea, were also newly-placed London restaurants, in eight and tenth places respectively.
The Oxford Blue in Windsor - in ninth place - was the only restaurant in the top 10 outside the capital. The only restaurant which remained in its top ten spot from last year was Scott's Restaurant, which rated fourth.
London restaurants continued to dominate the top 100 with 81% of entries in the capital. Meanwhile British cuisine dominated the top 100, representing 22% of restaurants on the list.
OpenTable's top 100 is generated from more than 851,000 reviews from across 6,500 restaurants in the past 12 months.
Adrian Valeriano, OpenTable's Europe vice-president, said: "Here at OpenTable, we consider diner reviews as a fundamental element of the service we offer to UK diners, ensuring customers can discover the right dining experience wherever they are in the UK."
Valeriano added: "As London continues to cement itself as the UK's culinary capital, it's also great to see outstanding restaurants from across the country including Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Hampshire all appearing on the list."
