Caterer Cooks & Partners has won a three-year deal worth £900,000 at London’s Postal Museum.
The caterer, which also operates cafés in Boston Manor and Brompton Cemetery in London, will operate a daytime café and offer external events at the museum in Clerkenwell.
The café will sit within the ‘welcome space’ of the Postal Museum, which greets guests before they experience a ride through a Royal Mail rail tunnel and learn about the institution’s industrial heritage.
Cooks & Partners director Simon Goggin said: “We are thrilled to be chosen by the Postal Museum to embark on such an exciting opportunity. It was a natural fit for us as we share the same social values and ethos and understand exactly what they want to achieve – a partnership that we are looking forward to nurturing.”
Tish Jayanetti, head of operations and commercial at the Postal Museum, added: “Cooks & Partners were chosen for their significant experience and excellent vision for the Postal Museum café, particularly their commitment to understanding our audiences in order to deliver the best experience for our visitors. We are really looking forward to working with them as the museum’s catering supplier."
