Overlooking South Bay beach, the four-storey property also features a restaurant, leisure centre and a health club with a gymnasium, aerobics studio, steam and sauna rooms, a 20ft hot tub and a 40ft indoor pool, a beauty salon and a spa. There are also seven rooms for meetings or events, hosting up to 260 delegates.
The Thai hospitality company has 12 properties under management in the UK, including the Victoria hotel in Chadderton, Oldham, Hawkwell House in Oxford and the Citrus Hotel Coventry. It has a global portfolio of 44 hotels across the UK, Thailand and Malaysia, with headquarters in Bangkok and Manchester.
Matthew Welbourn, executive vice-president of operations in the UK for Compass Hospitality, said: âAs a group, Compass Hospitality is always in active search for the right three- and four-star business and leisure properties across the UK, and we are planning several more openings in 2017 and 2018.â
