Cheval Collection is to open a serviced apartment block in Glasgow in 2024 under the Cheval Maison brand.
The upcoming 70-unit development will be the group's fifth property in Scotland and include a series of studios and one and two-bed apartments, as well as a restaurant, bar, gymnasium, and rooftop terrace.
It comes after a management agreement was signed between Cheval Collection and 141WRS Ltd, the site's owner.
Simon Mullen, managing director at 141WRS Ltd, said: “Cheval Collection’s decades of experience in serviced apartments made it the obvious choice for this development, which we hope will reinvigorate and further strengthen this corner of the city centre."
John Philipson, chief operating officer for Cheval Collection, said: “Our continued growth of the portfolio reinforces our ambition to take on new management contracts both in the domestic and overseas markets.
"The past two years have underscored the appetite for flexible accommodation where guests can live their lives, whether travelling for business or leisure, on a short or long stay basis.”
Daniel Johansson, director of development and acquisitions at Cheval Collection, added: “Demand continues to build for serviced apartments with experienced operators.
"We are talking to a number of investors and developers as we continue our expansion across dynamic cities around the world.”
Recent Cheval Maison signings include Lexham Gardens by Cheval Maison in London and Cheval Maison Frankfurt with 181 Apartments, which is due to open in 2023.
In March, Cheval Collection announced it will launch its first property under the My Locanda brand in Glasgow in 2024.
