2023 Great British Menu contestant Charlotte Vincent has been appointed as head chef of Colson’s Restaurant at Hotel Indigo Exeter.
The hotel, which is managed by Castlebridge Hospitality, opened in December 2022 and is also home to the Becketts rooftop bar, the Dugout sports bar, and the Retreat spa.
Vincent has worked as a pastry chef at the Royal Clarence Hotel in Exeter and the two Michelin-starred Gidleigh Park in Chagford with Michael Caines.
Three years ago, she took over the Five Bells in Compton and in September 2022, she was named head chef of Hotel Meudon near Falmouth in Cornwall.
Prior to her chef career, she completed a Master’s in Psychology and Human Biology before joining the Royal Logistics Corp of the British Army.
