The Catering Equipment Suppliers Association (CESA) will showcase the latest foodservice technology at Birmingham's Professional Kitchen Show in January 2019.
At the event CESA's kitchenology zone smart kitchen will showcase the latest technological advances for commercial kitchens. Visitors will be able to walk through a smart kitchen, which will feature the latest models, including connected warewashers, refrigerators and cooking appliances.
John Whitehouse, chair of CESA, said: "Equipment that's connected via the internet is already proving its worth in terms of improved efficiencies, lower running costs, less down time and much-enhanced ‘first time fix' rates."
He added: "The Kitchenology Zone Smart Kitchen is the place to see how it all works together."
The show will be held at the NEC Birmingham on the 22 and 23 January 2019.
CESA will also promote its training and 2019 education programme. Next year's courses will range from Principles of Foodservice, a short introduction for new starters to the industry, to a Network and Connectivity module aimed at maintenance staff and service engineers. Visitors to the stand will be able to find out about the Foodservice Knowledge resource.
