Speakers from Just Eat, Wired magazine and former chief treasury secretary Michael Portillo have been confirmed for the 2017 CESA Conference on 15 and 16 November at the De Vere Wokefield Estate Hotel, Reading.
The theme of the CESA Conference, in association with Cedabond, ENSE and the FCSI, is "Moving Forward in a Changing World" and writer Steph McGovern has been announced as conference chair.
Robin Clark, restaurant services director of Just Eat, will talk about delivering change; Jeremy White of Wired magazine will look at how the latest design, material and technological innovations will impact on the foodservice industry; and Michael Portillo will close the conference with a talk about the changing world.
For 2017 delegates can participate in a golf or activity day on the Wednesday, followed by an informal dinner. After the conference day there is the annual gala dinner, with the presentation of the FCSI Sustainable Equipment Award and the industry's Outstanding Achievement Award presented in association with The Caterer.
CESA represents over 190 companies who supply, service and maintain all types of commercial catering equipment - from utensils to full kitchen schemes.
