Catering by Churchill has won a five-year contract to provide the catering at Westminster Kingsway College and City and Islington College worth £4m.
The deal with Capital City College Group will require Catering by Churchill, which is part of the Churchill Services Group, to focus on contemporary foods and customer service.
The contract will involve delivering services to 26,000 students across nine campuses in London, ranging from cafés and restaurants to hospitality and vending.
Some refurbishment of the restaurants and café outlets will also be involved, with concepts designed to deliver contemporary and relevant "high street" experiences that encourage customers to stay on campus.
Rebecca Bridgement, managing director of Catering by Churchill, said: "We will use our forward-thinking approach and extensive knowledge of the further education sector to ensure a smooth transition and deliver a high standard of product and service. Providing an outstanding customer service is paramount to our success."
Churchill Services Group, which is now 40 years old, employs more than 12,000 people and has a turnover exceeding £150m. In addition to catering, it also offers cleaning, security and compliance and environmental services.
