Winners of The Caterer’s 2021 Supplier Awards announced

The leading food, drink and equipment products in the hospitality industry have been revealed.

The winners of The Caterer's Supplier Awards 2021 were announced this afternoon in a Facebook Live event by The Caterer’s managing editor Lisa Jenkins.

The award showcase first-class producers and suppliers from across the country and overseas. Jenkins said: "We had hundreds of fantastic entries this year and it gives us great pleasure to share these results.

“The team at The Caterer have spoken to so many businesses this year who have told us how supportive their suppliers have been – going the extra mile to ensure their sites stay open, extending credit, finding solutions to shortages and stockpiling equipment for those emergency situations – all examples of how the suppliers in this industry have stepped up.

"All the suppliers on the shortlist and our winners today have supported the NHS, the homeless and those in desperate need of food, drink, and cooking facilities throughout the past 20 months.”

Judge Adam Bateman, culinary director at the Grand hotel in Birmingham, said: "It's my third year of being involved with The Caterer's Supplier Awards, and I can't wait to return next year. It's a vital part of seeing new and innovative products from a broad range of suppliers across our industry and, as always, there were some really stand-out products."

Drinks specialist Neil Phillips, also known as the Wine Tipster, added: "I always look forward to the judging of *The Caterer'*s Supplier Awards, as I really enjoy working with the other judges, who bring such a range of skills, experience and passion. The high quality of product development and innovation shown by the suppliers in each of the categories is so inspiring and communicates such a positive message for our industry."
