Carl Howells appointed commercial director of Foodbuy

Carl Howells has been appointed commercial director of Foodbuy, the procurement division of Compass Group.

He moves from group purchasing firm Entegra, where he was the director of client relations.

Howells will oversee all aspects of Foodbuy’s hospitality operations, with a specific remit to grow the client base among hotel operators.

Foodbuy currently manages a combined client spend of over £1.4b in the UK, including procurement for parent company Compass Group. It offers services including online procurement, menu design, margin delivery and chef development.
