Landlord of Battersea's Bunga Bunga site searches for new tenant to continue the party

The landlord of the former home of Bunga Bunga in Battersea, London, is searching for a new tenant.

Bunga Bunga opened on Battersea Bridge Road in the early 2010s and welcomed revellers, including Prince Harry, for more than a decade. One floor of the site served as a pizzeria, while others were home to a club, private dining and karaoke areas.

The landlord is looking for a similar pub or bar offer to move into the site, which spreads across 6,059 sq ft over four floors and benefits from an alcohol and entertainment licence to 1am Sunday to Thursday, and 2am on Fridays and Saturdays.

Richard Thomas, director of agency at Shelley Sandzer, which is marketing the site, said: “The following that Bunga Bunga developed in its time in Battersea shows what can be achieved at this amazing site.

“We are seeing a real determination from people to get out and socialise, be it after work with colleagues, or on the weekend with friends, something supported by spend data. This unit provides a great opportunity to tap into that market, and no doubt it will soon be home to an operator with real personality, that can attract both local people and those from around London, with an all-day offer that spills into evening fun.”
