The soft drink specialist’s revenue increased 11.2% in the six months to the end of March.
Soft drink supplier Britvic has posted a revenue of £880m for the half-year ending 31 March. This is an 11.2% increase over the corresponding period in 2022-2023, which garnered £794m.
The half-year’s profit after tax also rose by 10.1% to £59.9m from £54.4m.
This puts the business on track to achieve an estimated £1,852.9m in revenue for the full 2024 financial year.
Britvic reported growth from the Pepsi Max, Ballygowan, MiWadi, Fruit Shoot and Lipton brands.
Chief executive Simon Litherland cited accelerated expansion across multiple new spaces, including mixer line London Essence, water brand Aqua Libra and Plenish organic juices as underpinning the figures.
He said: “I am confident we will deliver a strong full-year performance. In the medium-term, I firmly believe the continued execution of our strategy and growth drivers will allow us to sustainably outperform both the market and our historical top-line growth rate.”
The positive financial performance comes as the company is launching Mix with Britvic, a legacy training platform designed to inspire and upskill bartenders and hospitality professionals.
The free-to-access platform offers guidance on creating 10,000 Britvic mixed drinks, including coffee, smoothies, cocktails and mocktails.
The platform spotlights five core brands – London Essence Company, Mathieu Teisseire, R White’s, Britvic and Pepsi – and also features videos on creating the perfect mojito or advice on garnishes and glassware.
Carly Sims, socialising brand director at Britvic, said: “Creating Mix with Britvic was a natural step forward for us as we identified an opportunity to equip bartenders with drinks inspiration and training to succeed. Our aim is to support outlets and passionate bartenders across the sector to inspire and provide actionable advice that will make an impact.”
The training will also be available via Workforce, the new free-to-use membership platform from the British Institute of Innkeeping (BII)
Mix with Britvic will also offer bartenders the chance to receive an accreditation in mixology in partnership with the BII, encompassing a specialised module and quiz.
