Whoever said there's no such thing as a free lunch never entered The Caterer‘s Big Christmas Giveaway.
Today we have another double prize: lunch for two at two top restaurants in London and Brighton, Lao Café and Pascere.
Lao Café, the only restaurant in London to serve Laotian food, was launched by the team behind restaurant group Rosa's Thai Cafe in January 2017. Focusing on one of the last great undiscovered cuisines, Lao Café is a personal project for Rosa's head chef and co-founder Saiphin Moore, whose family hails from the southeast Asian country. For this new venture, Moore draws on her upbringing to serve a range of zingy salads, spicy curries and delicious chargrilled fish and meat that are staples of Lao cuisine.
Pascere, situated in a pedestrianised lane in the heart of Brighton, is spread over two floors with a terrace for alfresco dining, ideal for soaking up the vibrant atmosphere of the city. Pascere's open kitchen provides all-day dining seven days a week. Run by head chef Johnny Stanford, who has over 12 years' experience in Michelin-starred kitchens, Stanford has sourced the best local produce for his versatile, modern-British menus. Pascere is delighted to offer lunch for two with drinks up to the value of £100.
