Bidcorp acquires Harvest Fine Foods

Bidcorp UK, which owns Bidfood, has announced the acquisition of independent foodservice supplier Harvest Fine Foods.

Harvest Fine Foods was founded in 1988 and supplies more than 1,000 catering businesses across the south of England, including Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

The business offers 4,500 products from over 40 local suppliers, having achieved compound growth of 20% over the past 12 years.

Andrew Selley, chief executive of Bidcorp UK, said: “We are delighted to welcome the Harvest Fine Foods team into the Bidcorp Family where it will join the Caterfood Buying Group, our growing network of independent businesses including Nichol Hughes, Elite Fine Foods, Caterfood, South Lincs Foodservice and Cimandis.”

Selley confirmed that Harvest Fine Foods will continue to operate as an autonomous and independent business “in line with the decentralised move” that is currently in use for the Caterfood Buying Group.
