Cock & Bull (formerly Jampa’s), founded by chef Richard Fox and food industry expert Simon Hurley, has launched a plant-based pie range. Each pie is suitable for flexitarians, vegetarians, vegans and curious omnivores and comprises a Traditional Porkie Pie and its Choriz-no Porkie Pie brother, a Saus-ish Roll, and Spicy Choriz-no Empanadas. The pies have no artificial ingredients or preservatives and boast a carbon footprint at least 70% lower than their animal-based counterparts.

Aimia Foods’ coffee roaster brand Caffé Prima has added a new single-origin, light roast Brazilian blend to its coffee bean range, available in a 1kg bag or 6kg case with fully recyclable packaging. The coffee has been created to showcase the beans’ natural sweetness and features a delicate fragrance and notes of almonds and chocolate, making it perfect for americanos or as an everyday coffee.

Ingredients supplier Henley Bridge has secured exclusive UK distribution rights for Polish brand Food Colours. Henley Bridge will be stocking six collections: coloured cocoa butters in yellow, orange, red, pink, violet, blue, dark green, and black (100g); velvet sprays in yellow, orange, red, pink, dark chocolate, natural white (250ml); natural cake drip toppings in vanilla, yellow, pink, blue, green, chocolate brown, gold (100g); water soluble natural powder colours in yellow, orange, pink, purple, green, black (20g); liquid food colouring in yellow, orange, pink, red, blue, green, black (18ml); and metallic shimmering dust in gold, silver, pearl, metallic ruby and metallic copper (20g). An eight-piece natural colours powder set (8 x 2.5g) is also available.

John Farrer & Co of Kendal has added a ‘Signature’ speciality coffee collection to complement its core range, made up of small-batch seasonal single-origin offerings from sustainable and responsible farms around the world. The latest addition is China Kaku, produced by Kaku Farm in Paliang, Southwest Yunnan Province in China, a family-run farm and washing station run by Mr Li and his relatives, who produce a delicate washed process coffee with flavours of apples, lime, apricot and vanilla. Each of Farrer’s Speciality coffees is available as a whole bean or pre-ground, packed in a resealable bag.
