Benjamin Hofer and Daniele Quattromini join the Corinthia in key F&B roles

Corinthia Hotel London has boosted its food and beverage department with two key senior appointments.

Benjamin Hofer has been appointed director of food and beverage, having most recently held the same position at the Hotel Café Royal; while Daniele Quattromini, winner of the Gold Service Scholarship 2015 and previously food and beverage manager at Cliveden House in Taplow, Berkshire, has become operations manager of the Northall, the hotel's British restaurant, bar and private dining room.

The appointments were confirmed by Thomas Kochs who himself arrived at the Corinthia earlier this year as managing director from the same role at the Hotel Café Royal, where he spent 15 months. Kochs had previously spent five years as general manager of London's Claridge's hotel.

Originally from Austria, Hofer has worked in London for 10 years, having arrived in the capital in 2007 as events operations manager and later assistant food and beverage manager at the Berkeley hotel. He has also worked at Claridge's as deputy head of events and groups and the Town Hall hotel as food and beverage manager, before returning to Claridge's in 2014 as restaurant director alongside chef-patron Simon Rogan at Fera.

In his new role, Quattromini, an Acorn Award winner in 2015, will work with head chef Ewan Simpson. Prior to his recent experience at Cliveden House, where he was responsible for the André Garrett restaurant, The Astor Grill, afternoon tea rooms and events, he was general manager at ClubLounge39 in Canary Wharf for Lusso Catering, for two years.

Alongside the Northall restaurant, the other key food and beverage outlets at the Cornithia include Massimo restaurant and bar, offering an Italian menu, and the Bassoon bar.
