BaxterStorey has secured a five-year catering contract with Wycombe Wanderers Football Club for an undisclosed sum.
The foodservice provider will be responsible for F&B on matchdays, club events and private hire events.
BaxterStorey said it will collaborate with pop-up and street food vendors in Chairboys Village, which opened as an expanded fan-zone in August 2019.
The Woodlands Legends Lounge will showcase both international and Best of British flavours, with typical dishes such as panko-encrusted chicken pieces with sticky jasmine rice and pickled rainbow cabbage slaw; Yucatan pulled beef brisket and chargrilled roasted Mexican vegetables; and four-hour slow-cooked pulled chicken with giant Yorkshire puddings.
BaxterStorey will continue to offer casual meals across the stadium, including Wycombe Wanderers-branded pies sourced from Piglets Pantry paired to beers from Rebellion Brewery in Marlow.
Peter Kent, regional managing director at BaxterStorey, said: “We are excited to partner with Wycombe Wanderers and to inject our passion for food and flavour for their supporters to enjoy throughout the season. We are proud to be shaking up the menu by introducing a delicious selection of cuisines, ranging from Asian, and Mexican to the best of British, giving customers a round-the-world offering on their doorstep.”
Neil Peters, head of business operations at Wycombe Wanderers, added: “BaxterStorey has a fantastic reputation at other venues, some of which we have experienced for ourselves, and we have been extremely impressed with the quality of their products and the standard of their service. We look forward to showcasing what they have to offer when we welcome fans back to Adams Park in pre-season and throughout the months and years that follow.”
