The Channel 4 TV show is searching for teams of two pastry chefs for its 10th year.
Channel 4’s TV show Bake Off: The Professionals has fired the starting gun on applications for its 2025 edition.
In 2025 the programme will be in its 10th year, with the pâtisserie competition once again searching for the best pastry chefs in the UK.
Teams of two pastry chefs are being invited to apply, and they must have worked in a professional kitchen.
The 2024 winners were Tanuj Sharma and Narayan Shrestha from the Intercontinental London – the O2. They impressed judges Cherish Finden and Benoit Blin in the final with a bamboo charcoal brioche with a citrus crab filling for an afternoon tea challenge, and a Tower Bridge chocolate showpiece for a banquet task.
Previous victors included Mauro Di Lieto and Daniel Schevenels from the Landmark London, as well as pastry chefs from Cardiff bakery Gin & Bake and Kimpton Fitzroy hotel in London.
Past contestants have also gone on to open their own sites, such as Adam Cleal’s Niche Pâtisserie in Oswestry, Shropshire.
Prospective entrants for the 2025 series can apply here by Friday 20 September 2024.
