Michelin-starred chef Adam Byatt has been appointed chef director of food and beverage at Brown's hotel in Mayfair.
The appointment will follow the departure of chef Heinz Beck on 31 July. The chef's Beck at Brown's restaurant has served classic Italian dishes using seasonal British ingredients since opening in March 2018.
Byatt, chef proprietor of Michelin-starred Trinity, Bistro Union and Upstairs, all in London's Clapham, takes up the role from 9 September.
He will introduce menus celebrating contemporary British cooking complemented by European influences at the five-AA-starred, 115-bedroom, Rocco Forte hotel.
The hotel has said it shares a "natural synergy" with the chef and looks forward to an "exciting culinary journey ahead".
