Abokado has opened a new store in Hammersmith as it eyes future growth in the suburbs.
The west London store is the 24th for the healthy grab-and-go chain founded in 2004 by husband and wife team Mark and Lindsay Lilley.
The store will be the brand's second outside central London, joining a branch in the Isle of Dofs, and the first and the first to trade at weekends as the brand looks to attract new clientele.
The company's new store also features a new look, developed over the past year in tandem with London design agency Mystery.
Kara Alderin, Abokado operations director, said: "Our arrival in Hammersmith marks an exciting time for the business, stepping into a new territory outside of our Zone 1 heartland. We're delighted to be trading ahead of expectations, with a fresh brand feel and trading space designed for all day parts. It's been great to see such high levels of interest from day one, and we look forward to establishing a loyal brand following in the local community."
Earlier this year Abokado reported a 24% jump in profits for the year ending 31 March 2018.
