New boutique aparthotel 3 Sloane Gardens is set to open on 1 October, managed by luxury home accommodation business UnderTheDoormat, which has agreed a five-year partnership with landlord Cadogan.
The renovated building in London’s Chelsea features nine luxury apartments and services will include a ‘live-in’ service manager and reception.
The venue is seeking to cater for the changing preferences of international and UK tourists visiting London who are looking for central accommodation but with their own space and privacy.
UnderTheDoormat was appointed following a rigorous RFP process run by Colliers International. The company manages more than 300 luxury properties in the capital, including entire family homes and apartments.
UnderTheDoormat chief executive Merilee Karr said: “We are delighted to be selected for this five-year partnership with Cadogan. Without doubt, Cadogan is one of the most well-respected and successful property companies in the UK and we look forward to working with them on this exciting and innovative project.”
Hugh Seaborn, chief executive of Cadogan, said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with UnderTheDoormat, having selected them to operate this exciting boutique aparthotel at 3 Sloane Gardens. In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, we are confident that this addition will complement our existing hotel and residential offerings across the estate at a time when there is an increased demand for flexibility, exceptional service and the comfort of an authentic home-from-home in the heart of a characterful community.”
The company oversees the Cadogan family's Chelsea and Knightsbridge properties, including more than 30 restaurants, bars and cafés and nine hotels, such as 11 Cadogan Gardens and the Belmond Cadogan, as well as more than 3,000 flats and homes, 300 shops and seven schools.
