Green also runs the two-AA-rosette Green’s steakhouse at the Lord Bute hotel and restaurant in Dorset.
Chef Bradley Green’s new Windsor restaurant has closed just weeks after opening after the team were made aware of “serious concerns which are not in line with our values and standards”.
The 200-cover Green’s Kitchen and Bar launched in the town centre at the start of August serving burgers, steaks, afternoon tea and cocktails.
It was overseen by Green, who also runs the two-AA-rosette Green’s steakhouse at the Lord Bute hotel and restaurant in Christchurch, Dorset.
However, the Windsor restaurant has abruptly closed after only two weeks of trading.
A post on the restaurant’s social media pages read: “We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and supported us during the first two weeks of our soft launch at Green’s.
“However, during this period, we became aware of serious concerns, which are not in line with our values and standards. In light of this, we have made the difficult decision to withdraw our company from this location to protect our brand and uphold our commitment to integrity.
“We want to clarify that we are no longer associated with this site in any way. Our priority is to maintain the trust and confidence of our customers and staff, and we will continue to focus on providing you with the highest standards of service at our other locations.
“Thank you for your understanding and continued support.”
The restaurant has not shared any further details on the reasons behind the closure.
