Anup Sarin has been promoted from general manager of the 121-bedroom Double Tree by Hilton London Marble Arch to director of operations at Aristel Hotels.
In his new role, Sarin will continue to oversee the management of the Doubletree hotel, alongside looking after three other properties owned by Aristel Hotels: Frensham Pond hotel, Farnham, Surrey; Donnington Manor hotel, Sevenoaks, Kent; and the Chatsworth hotel, Hastings, East Sussex.
Sarin, who trained at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College in Delhi, India, came to the UK in 2002 when he was appointed general manager of the Best Western Premier Mostyn Hotel, which was the former name of the Doubletree Tree by Hilton London Marble Arch.
The hotel, which was rebranded in 2012, is home to Michelin-starred Texture restaurant, created by Agnar Sverrisson and Xavier Rousset. It also features the Fire & Spice Bar & Kitchen and the Indigo Bar & Lounge.
Aristel Hotels is owned by Kirit Patel.
