Dougal Inns acquires fifth site

Pub and restaurant group Dougal Inns has purchased its fifth site, the Royal Oak in Oxted, Surrey.

Dougal Inns operates sites across Surrey, including the three Grumpy Mole country inns in Tadworth, Brockham and Cheam.

Leisure property specialist Fleurets brokered the deal, and the property's freehold was acquired for £560,000.

Nick Earee from Fleurets said: "With five interconnecting trade areas as well as 3-4 bedroom accommodation, gardens and car park; this property is so versatile. Internally, the premises exude charm with exposed brick walls and more modern restaurant extensions. Furthermore, the property also benefits from various extensions and outbuildings."
