Wembley Stadium enjoys 30% increase in events bookings
Wembley Stadium has announced a 30% increase in events bookings in 2010, despite challenging economic conditions.
The annual number of events at the stadium has increased from 428 in 2009 to 550 in 2010 with two months still left in which to book; a 20% lift on 2008 figures.
Jackie Boughton, Delaware North‘s head of sales, conference and banqueting at Wembley, said: "After the turmoil of 2009 it has been fantastic to see our clients rallying to the benefits of events. They have embraced the overwhelming power of face-to-face meetings and used them to improve their businesses.
"Thankfully, our own marketing efforts have paid off, allowing us to win new business and further develop Wembley's offering."
