Arena Leisure wins 2012 Olympics deal
Arena Leisure has won a catering contract at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The racecourse operator and caterer will deliver services at equestrian and pentathlon events at Greenwich Park and canoeing and rowing at Eton Dorney in deal worth £500,000 to £1m in profits.
This is figure is dependent on variable factors such as attendance numbers and spend per head.
Mark Elliott, chief executive, said: "Arena formed its own catering business in 2007 and since then it has established a leading food and beverage offering across each of our seven racecourse venues.
"This contract adds another dimension to Arena's increasingly diversified revenue streams."
Racecourses operated by Arena include Doncaster and Royal Windsor.
