The Pheasant hotel in Harome, North Yorkshire – it was where I had my first job as a waitress and I still love it

Orange juice, coffee or spiced rum and ginger ale
Which ingredient do you hate the most?
I hate ketchup
Are there any foods/ingredients that you refuse to cook with?
Peanuts or nuts – I am allergic. If I feel a certain dish needs a nutty flavour or texture, I experiment with seeds and burnt butter to get my desired taste
What flavour combinations do you detest?
I don't really like savoury flavoured ice-creams or when ice-creams are used in starters
What do you always carry with you?
A Sharpie and a sarcastic comment
