Heinz Foodservice is offering caterers a chance to win a five-day trip to Boston in a recipe competition to mark the launch of its new Versabeanity campaign, designed to highlight the versatility of Heinz Baked Beanz in the food service market.
Rather than continually using baked beans as a side portion, caterers are being encouraged by Heinz Foodservice to think of new ways to use Heinz Baked Beanz on the menu.
There are also two runner-up prizes of £100 worth of Ticketmaster vouchers.Additionally, there will be an on-pack food service promotion running throughout August and September, which will identify Heinz Baked Beanz as Chef's Magic Beans.
Eight recipes using baked beans as a key ingredient have been created by Heinz development chef Gary Barnshaw and will feature inside 50,000 cases of 2.62kg of promotional product.
In addition, every can of beans will have a unique reference number which will give caterers the chance to win a share of £5,000.
To be in with a chance of winning a trip to Boston, caterers need to prepare a recipe featuring Heinz Baked Beanz as the key ingredient.
