Win 200 Nescafé single-serve coffee sticks

Nestlé Professional has slashed the packaging on its Nescafe single-serve stick packs by 22.4 tonnes a year, the same weight as two-and-a-half double decker buses.

It has achieved this by shortening the sticks, which still contain 1.8g of coffee, to cut laminate use by 14% or 10.2 tonnes per annum.

The company has also reduced the cardboard in the carton boxes by 9.5%, or 9.3 tonnes a year, while outer boxes now contain 2.9 tonnes less paper on an annual basis.

To celebrate the advent of its greener packaging, Nestlé is giving away boxes of 200 Nescafé Original stick packs to 10 lucky Product Zone readers.

To be in with a chance, e-mail your full name, address and contact details to
ctroy@splashcommunications.com, quoting ‘Nescafe stick packs' in the subject box.
