Supplier press release: iTradeNetwork signs e-commerce deals with ShareCare and IPA Purchasing

iTradeNetwork has signed three-year e-commerce contracts with buying consortia groups ShareCare Ltd and IPA Purchasing Ltd, giving the e-commerce specialist its first clients in the Reseller market. IPA Purchasing and ShareCare are both specialist purchasing partners in the healthcare and hospitality sectors and have partnered with iTradeNetwork to deliver market-leading online purchasing solutions to their respective customers.

iTradeNetwork is the world's leading provider of internet-based supply chain and purchasing technology to the hospitality, foodservice and retail industries. Each consortium has purchased iTradeNetwork's new Multiple Operator Portal (MOP) Re-seller solution in order to offer added value online ordering services to their customers, without having to develop the leading-edge technology in-house. These strategic arrangements allow IPA Purchasing and ShareCare to offer an online purchasing system to their full customer base, at an affordable price, whilst supporting their customers' purchasing needs, promoting better control and improving cost-efficiencies.

The Multiple Operator Portal solution will allow ShareCare and IPA Purchasing to view exactly what their customers are ordering at a glance, 24/7, rather than relying on untimely reports. It will allow all parties to take advantage of cost-efficiencies through regular orders, bulk-buying or managed supplier contracts. The solution will also offer the purchasing groups tighter controlled invoicing processes.

Anthony Eccles, Business Unit Controller for iTradeNetwork said: "We are delighted to enter into these exciting new partnerships with IPA Purchasing and ShareCare, which will be equally beneficial for all parties. The Multiple Operator Portal has been reconfigured to allow buying consortia groups like ShareCare and IPA Purchasing to offer their customers the benefits of an easier online ordering system. MOP will allow ShareCare and IPA Purchasing to bring all their suppliers online through a branded website, and use one ordering system across their respective businesses. They can take advantage of carefully negotiated purchasing contracts and streamlined purchasing processes, leading to greater profitability. ITN will also work in partnership with ShareCare and IPA Purchasing to train their sales teams, offer support with customer visits and produce co-branded literature, if required."

Kevin Cowell, Director for ShareCare commented: "Our new Multi-Supplier Portal system (MOP) allows us to take an even more cohesive approach to our customers' purchasing needs. It is user-friendly allowing our customers to simply navigate the system and place orders more easily at any time, manage the payment process better and view new products and their details at a glance."

Ben Campbell, Business Manager for IPA Purchasing added: "iTradeNetwork's MOP (our brand new ‘iPA-Pay') solution is proven and robust and is already widely used in the hospitality industry. It will certainly revolutionise and streamline our customers' purchasing and take us online, where many of our customers already are. ITradeNetwork is the specialist in online purchasing systems and because the technology is SaaS-based, our customers will also benefit from new updates, instantly."
