Starbucks retails its Via instant coffee through its stores and through EasyJet

Coffee shop chain Starbucks has started to sell single-serve packs of Via Ready Brew coffee - its first foray into the instant coffee sector. Although initially sales will be direct to customers at its UK stores, the Via packs will also be available on EasyJet flights.

Via took 20 years to develop and is claimed to taste as good as Starbucks stores' freshly filtered coffees. It contains fresh microground whole Arabica beans - the same used in all Starbucks coffee - and comes in two versions, Italian Roast or Columbia.
